Abstract
Todd T. Norman received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the
University of Michigan's school of art and design in 2000. After art
school he worked as a designer at Designvox.
Before being hired at Designvox, Todd had been substitute teaching in area schools, and enjoyed it so much that he went back to school for teaching certifications in art and elementary at Grand Valley State University.
He went on to receive a Masters degree in education in 2007. Currently, he enjoys being a fifth grade teacher at Woodside Elementary, drawing, and painting (using oil sticks on canvas). His art is full of bold lines and vibrant colors. He gets his inspiration from "light bouncing off odd angles, quick glances, those things you can't hold on to are what I attempt to capture in my art."
Recently, a fun student/teacher collaboration project evolved into two classroom books. Every Minute Counts was an exploration of how a book is made from beginning to end. The Book Walks...
