About the Artist…
Linda Burns was born in Okinawa, Japan and has lived in Alaska, Mississippi, Florida, and Wisconsin. But for most of her life, she lived in New Orleans which she still regards as her home. She has studied art at the University of New Orleans, Louisiana State University, and Nichols University. Her passion for mosaics comes from her love of bringing colors, contrast and reflective qualities together in unique ways to create pieces that inspire. Her family is central to who she is and serves as her inspiration in composing beautiful artworks.
