I am a self taught artist, with the world being both my teacher as well as my audience. It has been an incredible journey filled with joy, sadness, overwhelming challenges and unexpected calm. To sit and stare at a blank canvas staring back at you, and then witness its creation, as you move with the air that surrounds the smell of paint, sealer, the morning dew, coffee brewing and the sweet aroma of burning candles, is sometimes, Heaven itself. Sitting in my studio in Olive Branch, MS, I am inspired daily by my deep roots. Everything grows here, until the heat of a sweltering summer sun plays havoc on everything above and just below the earths surface. It is then that I recall the beauty of a spring morning. I create with a love and admiration of the talent within.
