Semester's end is approaching with great work by the students. Wonderful workshop at Mendocino Art Center in April. New work in progress at Black Bean Ceramic Art Studio in San Jose, thanks to Mission Clay.

Summer school is in full crescendo, getting into the last two weeks of session with another wonderful creative group of students. Getting a chance to finish the Wonderland piece from my Mendocino College AIR, and a trio of figures about the Bray/Jentel experience.
duality in everything

Almost at the end of a wonderful residency. A collaboration between the Bray and Jentel, spending time in both Montana and Wyoming, making ceramics and writing about ceramics. Driving Richard Akers' magnificent beast of a truck (stick shift of course) across the landscape,my head filled with majestic beauty. Drawing. Reading. Thinking. Amazing journey. love & thanks to everyone!
spring rains

Last night I drove through sheeting rain to Foothill College to give a visiting artist demonstration and slide lecture. A great group, headed by Andy Ruble. Saw lots of good work in progress. Thanks for a wonderful night!
