Michele VanDyke Hayden was born and raised in the heart of Dorchester County, Cambridge, Maryland. Where you can find the best the bay has to offer! Growing up, Michele was captivated by the natural beauty offered by the Chesapeake Bay. In her youth, she spent many weekends swimming, fishing and sailing the Chesapeake Bay with her family. At age 12 , Michele began working in the family seafood business. Michele married her husband, Jimmy a self employed waterman in 2004. Her love of the water is stronger than ever! She resides in Toddville, Maryland with her husband Jimmy, 2 sons - Brian and Shane and has 2 step children Buddy and Dylan. (along with 3 dogs and 5 cats)
While Michele has always loved art, her business venture began when she decided to make hand painted Christmas ornaments from Oyster Shells.
