Abstract
I am an administrator by day, and a weekend warrior painter. I came to painting late in my life, during an extremely difficult time. I truly believe that art saved my life. My deepest desire is to comfortably retire, and be able to paint full time, to travel and paint my travels, to write and illustrate my writings. I am basically self-taught with some wonderful mentors along the way. I read voraciously, I take classes/workshops and join art societies and guilds. I am a member of the fusionartist movement, and believe we are all creative artistic beings, just waiting for the permission to express. I love being in the company of other artists, for we look at the world in a completely different way. We actually take the time to SEE it! I paint in watercolors, acrylics and oils.
