I began glass engraving in 2002 after seeing the beautiful work of other glass artists. Most of the glass used is from recycled sources such as yard sales. The medias I previously worked in were oil painting and drawing (pen & ink with color pencil).

My studio is named in memory of my gentle Appaloosa mare, Moonwind.

Art should open the eyes of the soul. It should evoke forgotten memories and bring forth the deepest feelings of the spirit.

So you can see where my art began, I've included one of my oil paintings.
On another note, my helper, April, has to be where the action is.(see photo) She isn't allowed in the studio while I'm engraving as I don't have a mask to fit her little face. Like she'd keep it on. lol
