I work exclusively in Watercolor as I find the unexpected mixing of colors into wet paper exciting. Every work is an adventure as each application must be adjusted to suit the previous layer. I prefer working out of doors as I enjoy the natural surroundings. Some flowers and trees call out "paint me".

How do you know how much to charge for your paintings? I love yours so far ... I have done one watercolor, it's of some baby birds ... I did it over a decade ago ... But I won first place in state regionals when I was in Job Corps and a blue ribbons and a frame ...

Hi Mary, what kinds of water colors do you use? Have you ever used the kinds in the little plastic tubes "that look like food color tubes almost" ? I have bought about a dozen of them and am not sure how to use them ... Also, I have a cheap paint palette of water colors "the cake kind", that I haven't used ... Do you think those will work - the cakes - ?
