Abstract
Past American Cancer Society Staff Artist, received National Award of Merit for outstanding artistic production. A retired Military Sealift Command Merchant Marine Officer, I moved to Hawaii in 1970. I was a Honolulu Zoological Society staff artist. Currently residing in the Coachella Valley, my work can be seen in various venues throughout the United States, Hawaii and Asia. I restored Haller Fountain for the city of Port Townsend, and for the Washington State Historical Society. The Bishop Museum through the Hawaii Maritime Center commissioned me to restore and paint in full color the figurehead of the tall ship Falls of Clyde on the island of Oahu. Moanalua Intermediate School in Hawaii displays a 37 ft.x 6 ft. mural created by me and 45 students. Other work done for the Honolulu Drug Free Coalition and through private commissions among prominent families.
