Portraits & Figures
My greatest desire is to showcase beauty in the natural world. My main focuses are on figures and floral artwork. My art is influenced by my continuing interest in ancient Greek and Roman art, and the Renaissance masters. I especially am interested in translating sculpture figures into paintings. With these paintings, I tend to take artistic liberties in the use of dramatic color and skewed perspective to create a modern edge.
My passion for all things floral had its beginnings in my earlier career as a floral designer. These days, my flower garden provides much inspiration.
I encourage you to live your dreams. Do the thing that you were meant to do with your life; the thing that brings you much joy. If you do, the money will follow! Also, strive to live a life that is pleasing to God. These are the things that make for a beautiful life!
Thanks for helping me do what I love for a living. Feel free to contact me. I'd love to hear from you!
