I graduated from Barnes Hospital School of Nursing and worked as an RN at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis. Later I graduated Summa cum Laude from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, with a B.S. in Social Work, minor in Psychology. I started art work in 2005. I am a self-taught artist. I entered art competitions in 2005, 2006, 2007 and won a total of 20 awards. Now I have moved to the Chicago area. I am continuing art work here. I work in oil and chalk pastels, acrylic, pencil, watercolor, colored pencils, and mixed media. I do realism, folk art, abstract, contemporary, cubism, geometric, and outsider art.
