I am a wife, but I haven't always been a wife. I am a mother, but I haven't always been a mother. I am left-handed, but I haven't always been left-handed.I am going to heaven, but I haven't always been certain of that.I have always been a daughter. I have always been a sister. I have always been of Italian descent. I have always been a female, and in the very same way, I have always been an artist. That will never change. I didn’t take lessons to be an artist. Being an artist was never a decision for me. It is the first thing that I remember being driven to do. Being an artist is what I did before I can remember anything, or ever knew that I was doing what an artist does. I didn’t develop into an artist. I have only developed as an artist.I have always been an artist.I will always be an artist. I will never not be an artist, because an artist is what I am. How blessed am I that I absolutely love being an artist!I’m currently working on a series of small, daily...

Pochade Box 2007-02-27 I received the pochade box from the man in Canada that makes them himself. He does a really nice job and at $24. including shipping, it's a great value. If you're interested go to ebay and search for "pochade box". He makes these boxes in larger sizes and also makes wet-panel carriers. I'm very pleased with the pochade box he made for me,although I'd still like to find a smaller, finished one like Garber's. Speaking of which, we went to the follow up exhibit at the Michener Museum in Doylestown, PA and it was wonderful. Try to get out to see it. It's well worth it.
Pochade Box 2007-02-12 Well , I went back on eBay and looked under pochade boxes and found a small 9x7x2 box that has a tripod mounting plate on the bottom and adjustable brackets that hold panels 5x7 or smaller. I think the size will be perfect and can put a nice finish on it myself. It's not beautiful like Garber's, but will do the job. The gentleman that makes them in assorted sizes is from Canada. Starting bids are $9.99 and the BIN price for this size is around $30. He also makes wet-panel carriers in assorted sizes.
In the meantime, if you see one that fits the description of Garber's I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.
Blessings,
Jeanie
