Abstract
Artist Statement:
The human psychological environment is composed of cumulative experiences and thoughts contained within an emotionally charged atmosphere. This psychic landscape is where the fundamental aspects of man's identity dwells in an integrated, holistic system. As an artist, I translate this inner environment into a direct visual language which is emotional and rational, personal and universal.
Building upon the foundations laid by the twentieth century Surrealists, Abstract Expressionists, Color Field and Geometric Abstractionists, I have developed a visual vocabulary synthesizing these concepts.
