Hi World... I build fantasies and dreams. All of my creations come exclusively from my imagination and most you'll notice require you to use your own imaination to get inside. My castles, keeps and strongholds don't usually have a main entrance or doorway but inspire the viewer to create their own way in ... and once inside ... ;)
At the moment I have several pieces in various stages of construction, and have featured some of these here along with some completed works. I will be happy to consider all commission requests.
Each piece is constructed on natural rock, usually lava rock because of the texture, but I have also built on chunks of concrete, mortar and sandstone. I allow the rock to determine the shape and size of each castle. Each individual brick is hand formed from oven-fire clay or oven-fire polymer clay (Sculpy)and placed over an armature of recycled paper tubes, cartons or boxes.
