My installations, paintings, drawings, and mixed media pieces deal with the pleasantries and travesties of sexual orientation. I am fascinated with unknown communication that flows between two people or their surroundings. Thoughts that are lost in translation are something that I talk about in my work. The balance of fighting and falling into stereotypes of sexuality is something that has been on my mind for quite sometime. The balance of dominance and suppression in society and sexuality are important to my pieces.
