I started drawing at a young age and always loved art.
I started my formal art education at Spring Arbor College where I attended from 1980-1982. My life took a several twists and turns before I returned to college 25 years later to complete my BFA from Shawnee State University, Portsmouth, OH. My senior show consisted of 11 pastel and colored pencil drawings of cirque dancers. The show was requested for exhibition at the Southern Ohio Museum during Aug - Sept. 2005.
I currently reside in Cincinnati with my husband and two sons. My most recent work is a 3-panel triptych painting called "Parable of the Sower" which has been accepted for exhibition with a traveling CIVA (Christians in the Visual Arts) show called "Picturing the Parables". Final Friday - Downtown Cincinnati!

I will be exhibiting 3 of my original drawings at "Final Friday" at Studio 222 (222 East 14th St., Cincinnati, OH). This will take place April 27 from 6 - 10 p.m. I'm excited to be part of a larger community of artists from the Cincinnati area.
