My work always has been a personal exploration of human emotions. Using the female figure as a vehicle, I attempt to capture a moment in time. I do not paint portraits of women; I paint the concept of a womans emotion.
In the high tech world we live in, I feel my work offers a high touch quality, giving the viewer the opportunity to be an active participant in the emotionality of the painting. I like to think of my "women" as the inner essence of any woman, for they are the architects of our civilization.
One thing I always try to convey in my work is a sense of hope. An innate strength of character to overcome and go forward with life.
