Professional experience
Art exhibitions:
Georgi Baylov has been working in the field of art of painting and mural painting for the last ten years. He actively participates in every event and activity, organized by the Association of Pazardjik artists and the Association of Plovdiv artists such as joint art exhibitions in Sofia, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv, Bourgas, etc.
1994 – The first one man show, taken place at the Club of cultural figures, town of Pazardjik.
2002 – The second one man show, taken place at the Gallery of Association of Pazardjik artists, town of Pazardjik.
2005 – Two one man shows have been performed, respectively at Rover Gallery (town of Pazardjik) and at Active art Gallery (town of Varna).
Participation in many painting events:
• 1993 - Painting event in town of Belovo, Bulgaria
• 1994 – Painting event in town of Vetren, Bulgaria
• 1999 – Painting event in town of Veless, Macedonia
• 2000 – Painting event in town of Ohrid, Macedonia
• 2006 - Painting event in town of Ohrid, Macedonia
One of the three artists who has done the ‘Wall” Project in 2002 at the Gallery of the Association of Plovdiv artists.
The project has been recognized as one of the most important cultural events in the town of Plovdiv. Prof. Valentin Angelov has described it in detail in his book “Art and aesthetics”.
Prizes:
2000 – Young artists award, given by the Association of Pazardjik artists
2003- A Pazardjik Painting award, given by Pazardjik Municipality
2005 - Participation in the International painting exhibition, town of Stara Zagora.
Other relevant information
Georgi Baylov is a co-artist in the decoration of St. Troica Temple, town of Tran, Bulgaria.
He is also an author of the iconostasis at St. Ilia Chapel, town of Vetren, Bulgaria.
