shadow #1 2009-06-16 "It is important to give voice to the shadow,to allow it expression and presence, its just the other side of who we are."(Jung)
Before i stumbled upon the writings of Carl Jung that addresses the shadow, i was creating drawings that address childhood issues as it relates to my existence within a family. Most of the sketches ivolved shadows that poped up in dreams. It is still a puzzle as to how the mind works in dreams.
my shadow 2009-06-09 I am creating new works that explores childhood issues that have resurfaced through dreams etc. I am slowly becoming aware of myself through these works, can i tell you it is definitely therapeutic.
