Abstract
Ziad Al Halabi, Born in Jordan in 1979, he lives and works in Damascus. He studied at the Painting Department of the Fine Arts College in Damascus,. He participated in several exhibitions, festivals, and art events (paintings, installation, photography, and video art) in France, Canada, Italy, Turkey, Greece, China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ukraine, Morocco, Cyprus, Russia, Malta, and Argentina. He took part in Canada’s eighth and ninth biennales for miniature, 2006-2008, and won the art doyen’s award at the youth exhibition 2004 and the second award for installations in the 2004 Damascus Culture and Heritage Festival.
