Most of my life has been spent with 2-D works utilizing pen and ink and pencil. My biggest facination lies with 3-D peices. I've been looking around for a media that has a twist to the way light and shadow plays off the different textures. What I have found too is that the viewers will "see" different images in each of the sculptures. Each image as individual as the person looking at it. It's enjoyable the feed back they come up with. Sort of like a 3-D ink blot.
The material is "scrap" from the foundry that I work at, their mistakes is my playground. Putting the peices together to find the sculpture that is pleasing to the eye and challenging to the imagination is an adventure.
Thank you for stopping by my profile.

Now to get into the other area, pen and ink/pencil 2007-03-25 Well, I've just finished my last piece working with grey iron for a while and I'm going to start on a few projects that have been on the back burner. Stay tuned and check them out. Still waiting for feedback on the sculptures from my peers.-WDF3
