I am a local artist and have been painting for the past 15 years. Two years ago I was diagnosed with arthritis and for the first year was confined to my home. During this time I started to develop and explore various painting techniques. I now paint abstract and seascapes using mixed medium. Colour, texture and three dimensional form are my inspiration. My work is not pre-meditated and from the onset has no set direction. I am influenced by my mood and my condition. The names given to my paintings are only indicative of how I perceive the finished work. Ultimately they are ambiguous and open to individual interpretation.
All works are available in different sizes and colours.
