I began my career at the age of five. I did a western mural (in crayon) on all the walls of our front room. Boy did I get in trouble and it was hard washing it off. But I continued drawing and painting...Now I paint murals and get paid! Studied art in high school and Utah State University and Weber State (Weber State University now). Took a class in portrait painting from Del Parson and the famed portrait painter Daniel E Green. Have received awards for a portrait of John Wayne, the judges choice,for 3 horses, also a judges choice. I paint portraits of Children on Christmas ornaments, or other small items. I use acrylic, oil, pastels and some scuplture.
