I am fascinated by other cultures, and I believe that the soul passes through hardworking hands. These days, so much focus is placed on modernity; the idea that more is great, and faster is better. It's a shame, because so much peacefulness lies within something that has been hand-crafted. And, isn't peacefulness what everyone is in search of? My aim is to continue pouring my soul into each piece that I create, all the while focusing on others' work - such as the antique drawings of DaVinci, the silk painters of Asia, the ritualistic carvers of Africa, South America, and the Native Americans, and the sand painters of Tibet.
