Stephen Stafford has been painting in oils and other media as well as creating three dimensional art for 40+ years.
He has completed university studies in Commercial and Studio Art, and is a trained Scientific Illustrator under the tutelage of Dr. Donald Sayner at the University of Arizona.
During his military service he was awarded the "All Army Artist" award for "Thailand Memories" for being first place in a worldwide competition of military and DOD artists. He also won "All Japan Artist" for his oil painting "Okinawa".
His work can be seen at Gallery 101 of the Flint Hills in Marion, Kansas.
