I paint the beauty of God's creation, and enjoy working with different mediums. I started painting when I was very young, and have a passion for the colors of the world around me. Paintings of water, mountains, and flowers help my customers drown out the stress of everyday life. I like to paint large, but I also do smaller works for customers with limited space, and or budget.

Starting oil paintings

Does anyone start oil paintings with watercolor? It works well, and mineral spirit mediums don't seem to affect the watercolor under painting.
Priming for oil painting

I like to mix casein with acrylic primer to prime canvas for oil painting. This takes some of the flexibility out of the acrylic primer to better match the oil paints flexibility.
