Abstract
Painting is my path to connection and peace. It brings me joy through creation, and allows me to share beauty and emotion with others, touching strangers on an intimate level; while sharing art and elegance from a world that surrounds me.
My work began with mixed media creations: dolls, mosaic tiled work, metal sculpture, and jewelry. As my art turned to painting, I evolved the form you see today: sculpture on wood to form a canvas with depth that I complete with acrylics.
I have been working with mixed media and painting for more than 15 years. My innovative, whimsical, playful style blends the tactile depth of sculpture with the rich tones of acrylics, gold and silver leaf. Growing up in a large Italian and French family in Portland, Oregon my art is influenced by the passion and expression of my cultural heritage.
