I am a 53 year old Mom blindsided by Parkinson's Disease at age 47. I am a self taught artist and the doctor told me if I wanted to paint I better do it now because you don't know from one day to the next how this disease will affect you. Thank the Lord it has left my right side alone. I have not done much with my art for 17 years and when I saw your site I was excited to be able to show my work. I am in the process of applying for disability and if I can sell something it would be great. My husband of 23 years has Multiple Sclerosis. He is my biggest fan and is very supportive of my work. Our 13 year old is very happy in his art class at schooland is proud of his Mom's art. I love to draw with pencil or pen. Watercolor is my favorite and I love to combine the two. I like to draw with a Focus Gel pen, they are so easy to draw with.
