Abstract
When I was young I wandered through gallery after gallery. I felt like Cinderella. Pleasure of paint came early to me. Classes and the first few years were of exploration; then came originality and self expression. I realized a painting could stop the sun from setting. My grid bases paintings are much more than a device for me. I have worked with the grid since early on, remaining true to its constraints... except for the times when they decide to break out to the point of abstraction....
