Eric Devan's abstract style often encompasses the events around us by fusing them with images that are sometimes playful, yet, upon closer scrutiny, offer throught provoking insight. Other work is pure fantasy.
With highly detailed whimsical characters that covort across the canvass, he invites the viewer to join the fun.
Well balanced geometric forms and vibrant colors are a hallmark of this artist. From a very young child Mr. Devan has used a wide variety of techniques including, water color, acrylics, oils, pencil, and oil marker drawings.
