I have been an artist for 15 years and I love history. All of my pieces reflect the details from the 1700's and 1800's. Hundreds of hours are spent in research before I begin a painting. I like to paint different regions of our country and not just the traditional east coast Americana. It is very time consuming but worth the hours taken when people see my pieces. My average time it takes for a painting is one hour per inch. The pieces range from 20 X 24 or larger. I make sure that the people, the dress, buildings, horses and everything you see are accurate for the time period and area. I always receive such wonderful compliments from people. They are always amazed when they see something new after going back time after time. My paintings are educational, fun and you never get bored with it. Thank you!
