This photo was taken in September of 2009 at Antietam Battlefield of the Famous Civil War Bridge, "Burnside Bridge" where over 12,000 civil war soldiers died on September 17, 1862. Over 23,000 died during the one day battle at Antietam Battlefield.
The photo was taken on a beautiful sunny day , but reflections due to water, stone, leaves, clouds, and shadows played an important part in creating a very Ghostly Image of a Man's face underneath the center arch of the bridge. You can see his forehead, browl, his eyes, nose, nostrils, and lips very distinctly. Also off to the left is a small girl with a red dress on, You can see her hair, face, red dress, arm and legs in the water.
