I am a self-taught visionary intuitive artist. I work in several mediums: Oil, Acrylics, Pastel, Pencil, & Ink. Through personal life experiences, my creative passion for art evolved after the passing of my spouse from lung cancer in 2004. My heart's desire is to give to others, to teach them to tap into their own journey to find their sacred desires of inner peace and passionate spirit through their own creative art. I teach a weekly contemporary/abstract art class at a local retirement community where my students ages range from the 80's to 100. I predominately paint with my hands and paper towel to blend. I love working with art floor canvases (72" x 102") and down to 1" inch square wood block. Living on a 17 acre organic vegetable/fruit farm gives me a multitude of subjects to paint, photograph, draw and just be in the moment in serene meditative nature's environment. Johnnie, is a very dear artist friend of mine. After the passing of my beloved spouse from lung cancer Oct. 2004, Johnnie was the one that inspired me to "get going" on my painting as part of my healing process. Her art is fantastic. One evening we played around with open air dry clay sculptures together, it was a blast. I have used Johnnie in some of my paintings as my model. Thank you dear friend!

Hello, I am a new contemporary abstract visionary artist on Artistsites. While on another online gallery in 2005, I too, received a Scam, someone wanting to purchase my art, via Western Union & they would send me a Cashier Check. Jack Cool was his name from England, representing art buyers. I received a Cashier Check for $5000. I went to my local bank, sure enough the check was a fake, written from a bank from Cleveland, Ohio, Bank One.Michele(Shel)Ritter
