Patrick is a self-taught watercolor artist and photographer. He resides in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, which has become the subject of many of his paintings and photographs. Patrick and his wife Susan also have a vacation property in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Southern New Jersey has become extremely inspirational and is reflected in a majority of his work.
Patrick’s love of art began prior to high school. Art was put on the “back-burner” while pursuing a career in Technology. While he and his wife were on vacation in Stowe, Vermont in 1996, a gallery of paintings by watercolor artist Walton Blodgett triggered his passion to pick up his paintbrush again. Working from photographs when painting stimulated a passion for photography. Seascapes, Victorian architecture and nautical scenes have become the themes of many of his photographs. Often you will find Patrick walking on Sunset Beach or through the lovely town of Cape May with camera in hand.
