For anybody who has ever looked at a child and said, "Boy I wish I could freeze this moment in time and keep you young forever," this art is for you. I am a self taught child photographer and digital artist combining simple photography with digital effects and techiniques to create narrative, whimsical, and fantasy art meant to tug at your heart and make your smile.
I enjoy children as my subject matter more than anything else because of their unsensored and priceless "real expressions" and the playful and imaginative way in which they interperet their world around them. I feed off of their imagination because it inspires me so much. As a mother of 7 children, they not only fill my world, they create it. I am also inspired by several notabvle artists whose work beautifully portrays the magic of childhood: Kathleen Francour, Lisa Jane, Valerie Tabor Smith, and Anne Geddes.
