A former high school Art teacher who decided it was high time for me to develop my own talents. I retired myself, with my husband's blessing, and have never looked back. I divide my time between painting sets for the local theatre productions, and painting to my heart's content. I joined a plein air group and am rediscovering oils and pastels. We travel to many places to paint like Big Bend National Park, Hill Country Texas, Lost Maples State Park. I have started getting my work juried into several national competitions, and have a gallery show planned this year. Life is good.
