what i see

that said (see post-"what do you see") there are a number of paths that i'm interested in exploring but if you look at the work that i, currently, have shown you'll notice that i'm drawn (no pun intended) to contrast and intense color... i think that contrast makes life interesting, i believe that good is not recognizable without evil, beauty exists relative to ugliness... intense color reflecting intense emotion.

what do you see

in an ideal world everyone would be comfortable looking at (or for that matter- listening to and/or reading) works of art and communicating what they see and what emotions (if any) the piece conjures... i think that that is a big piece of what makes us human (that interpretive ability)...
