Abstract
Avenda is a graduate in Writing and Commonwealth Arts having attended Exeter University and the University of California, Santa Barbara. With her husband, Steve, Avenda moved to South West France, nearly six years ago. 2006 saw them move again to the bastide town of Monsegur about 40 minutes south east of Bordeaux.
There they opened her gallery, Atelier Avenda. It looks out through arches on the town built 800 years ago by Eleanor de Provence.
Surrounded by vineyards and painting all day. Hmm! I think we managed to steal away and chase the dream.
