Abstract
Alexandra White began painting at a very early age alongside her mother, Dianne J. White, a professional oil painter. Because of her mother Ms. White learned important skills and techniques, to market paintings. She also discovered a creative force inside providing the ability to express her zeal of life through painting. This hands-on approach became a foundation in which she would build on in later years.
As both an art student, freelance photographer and painter in the 80’s and 90’s Ms. White studied many periods & styles. Her enthusiasm for Surrealism led to her current passion as an Abstract Expressionist painter. While working with a multitude of mediums such as; oil pastels, acrylics, watercolors, wax, wood & glass, she is able to express the emotions that bind the passions of creativity and could enslave the mind to a path wrought with fury, sadness or even love. Natural and uninhibited she expresses her emotions for the audience to feel the laughter or see the tears.
