I retired early from teaching in the U.K. due to ill-health in the 1990's and am now spending my time painting the towns and landscape around me in the South-West of France. I mostly paint in watercolours and acrylics, but am starting to experiment with oils, which I haven't touched since I was at college in the 1970's. It is something I dreamed of doing for many years when teaching deaf children in England. I sell my paintings to tourists and locals. I would like to expand the number of people I can sell to, and so have set up this webpage. I hope you like it.
Sorry all the prices are in dollars. I can't change the currency, but as a guide $100 is approx. €75 or £50.

First commission

Great work Artsites. Got my first commission through the site today. After sending my web address to friends and acquaintances I received some very positive comments. The main one being to push on with the more impressionistic acrylics and oils. Also a commission to paint a scene from my home town, Beaumnt de Lomagne!
